EZ5i Flash Cart working on DSi Firmware 1.4x

Find more info at www.gbatemp.net While the ezteam sent word that they have bypassed the flashcart block in the 1.4 firmware of the dsi they have now released a video showing the block, the update to bypass it and a working game the other side. This should work on all existing ez5i carts (no need to buy a new one) but as the team do not have a PC connection or an external updating tool you will need to either have access to a dsi with a firmware lower than 1.4, a dslite or an original DS to do the update (you can see it in the video below but it should be about 35 seconds work).

The one drawback: No Adobe Flash player

adobeOur #1 question from readers is how to get the Adobe Flash Player 10 to work on the Nintendo DSi.

Unfortunately, at this point there isn’t a version of flash player that works with the DSi, and I haven’t found any workable homebrew solutions.

Rumor has it that Adobe is porting a version of Flash Player 10 for the ARM architecture for smartphones. That should work, or at least be hackable to work with the DSi.

Until then, you might want to look into online transcoding solutions. Let me know if you find one that works.
