I purchased this case when I purchased my DSi. Im not sure how the finishes are with other DSi’s, but the matte finish on the black one practically begs to be scuffed up. Let me tell you, this case has awesome quality! The pictures dont do the color justice! The case has a metallic green to it, lighter than what the pictures show, the DSi fits very snugly into the case, the black flip above the case that you see is made of rubber unlike some that just use cheap hard plactic.

Not only does it protect your DSi, but in my opinion, it vastly improves the visual appeal of it! If you purchase this, or any of its multi-colored brethren, you wont be disappointed.

I ordered this case to have something to protect my dsi from fingerprints, scuffs, etc. This case definitely protects, while adding a nice metallic green color. It fits the dsi perfectly and all of the ports are easily accessible. It is aluminum on the outside, hard plastic on the inside, and has a flexible rubber hinge. It adds a fair amount of weight to the dsi itself, but this is because it is aluminum. The hinge seems strong, unlike a lot of unlicensed dsi cases. I have nothing bad to say about this case, it fits the dsi perfectly!

Bottom line: If you are looking for something that will protect your dsi from scuffs and scrapes, this is definitely one to consider. However if you are looking for a case that will add more protection, I would go with one of those full cases that zip up around the dsi itself. Personally I dislike having to take my dsi out of the case and I LOVE how I can play my dsi with this case still on.

Anyone that either owns or is buying a Nintendo Dsi should purchase this product. I bought this as part of a Christmas present for my little sister. This case has thoroughly protected her Dsi from scratches and falls. I took it off the other day and her Dsi looks brand new. So…if you are buying or have bought a Dsi for a child I highly recommend this case, especially if they tend to drop their things often.

My five year old got a pink DS for Xmas this year so we had to get all the pink accessories to go with it. This case is see-thru so she can see her games and it was easy for her to open and close w/o assistance.

So I have a feeling this is going to show as a 3 star review...the review is a little weird it rates it as a game which it is obviously not so I was a little hesitant in the filling out of the star system.

It is a little plasitc box that holds your games. It looks exactly like the picture(s). It is great for taking multiple games out with you and not worrying about bringing the actual game case or losing/damaging the game in your purse/bag. The latch stays firmly closed and each slot for the games holds them tightly so no risk of accidental opening or dropping of cartridge(s).

If you have more than one game and are going to take your DS with you anywhere I recommend any version of this case. Rating: 3 / 5

DS games are so easy to lose, this case helps keep them together and it’s perfect for me since I don’t have a ton of games, the kids have a bigger one that’s also very nice.
